LEY LINES IN PUERTO VALLARTA

A Vortex in Puerto Vallarta?

In an original post by Bart Smith titled “Ley Lines in Puerto Vallarta: Wonderful for Meditation, Yoga, and Restoring the Soul,” he discusses the presence of Ley Lines in Puerto Vallarta. My research on Ley Lines, however, suggests that there are alternate theories regarding their locations. Bart Smith’s mapping depicts 12 vortices where these Ley Lines intersect. According to Bart’s description, one vortex is located at the mouth of the Rio Cuale in Colonia Emiliano Zapata (see map above).

Here is an alternate and, quite frankly, more accurate depiction of the Ley Lines in Puerto Vallarta based on scientific and empirical evidence. This does not mean Bart’s article should be dismissed, but rather that evidence has yet to support his theory.

Map of the Earth’s Ley Lines

Through my research, I found an overlay for Google Earth that maps out all the existing Ley Lines and their corresponding vortices worldwide. This overlay was created by a group of researchers who meticulously studied the alignment of spiritual locations, ancient ruins, anthropological data, and magnetic anomalies around the globe.

Google Earth shows a major vortex located just 3 km from Tomatlan, Jalisco, Mexico. This Colonia lies on a Ley Line that intersects with others to create the vortex. Puerto Vallarta is about 80 km from this vortex. Being a major vortex, Puerto Vallarta and its surrounding areas are influenced by its energy, with the effect intensifying as you get closer to its point of origin.

You can download this Google Earth overlay for both PC and Mac. You can download Google Earth Pro at google.com/earth/versions. Then download the “UVG-grid-compiled-by-B-Hagens.kmz” FILE.  Open Google Earth, click File and then Open. Browse to the downloaded UVG file above. Select it. Once you have selected the file, the overlay will appear on Google Earth and you can view all the Ley Lines in the World!

So, What Are Ley Lines?

Ley Lines create an energetic grid that crisscrosses the globe, connecting energy vortices. While this may sound fantastical, scientists have discovered many points around the Earth with a stronger electromagnetic pull or magnetic anomalies. These points are significant when mapping Ley Lines. It is believed that ancient civilizations knew about these Ley Lines and constructed megalithic, mystical, and spiritual structures on them, such as the Pyramids of Giza, Angkor Wat, Stonehenge, and many others. When mapped, these structures align with almost exact precision along these lines.

The energetic effects of Ley Lines and vortices can be felt for many kilometers or miles around. They emit a high-frequency vibration that can be sensed by animals, people, plants, and affect the land around them. When appropriately channeled, the energy of a vortex can assist with fertility, agriculture, emotional and mental stability, memory, heightened perception, and expanded consciousness. It is also known to amplify an individual’s state of being. A common thread among those who spend time in locations affected by Ley Lines or vortices is an unexplained sense of connection to the area and a strong feeling of contentment. This is why many who arrive in Puerto Vallarta end up extending their stay or even moving there, unable to pinpoint exactly why they feel drawn to the place. Hence, the phrase “the magic of Puerto Vallarta” is often heard among visitors and locals alike.
